This Little Strawberry Notecard is Super Sweet

Our theme is Sale-A-Bration this month so I've included some of the fabulous BERRY DELIGHTFUL Designer Series Paper into the design of this sweet little note card. Little Box of Neighborly Love

 

Happy Valentine's Day to All of My Virtual Neighbors!

This adorable little box idea is not original to me, I've seen it on Pinterest and a couple of other places. I also CASE'd the basics of the design (I don't know who and I can't find the post). But I just had to show you what I made and gave to several of my neighbors and friends to show a little love this Valentine's Day. 

And since it doesn't have a Valentine's sentiment on it, you could CASE (Copy And Share Everywhere) it for a fun treat just about any time of the year. The strawberry really makes me think of summer! 

This side view shows the box a little better.

The Scalloped Tag Topper Punch works really well to make a cute little box that holds 4 heart-shaped chocolates. I even added the strawberry stem outline stamp and punch from the Sweet Strawberry Bundle. 

Topping it off with about 16"-18" of Real Red 3/8" Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon makes a special little gift. 

I started with a 2" x 8-1/2" strip of Bermuda Bay Cardstock, scored at 3-1/2" from each end and then punched each end with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. 

I used the same Bermuda Bay Cardstock for the box part of my treat box. This piece is 2-1/8" x 5" and then scored at 3/8" from each side and scored at 1-1/2" from each end. Little notches as shown in the picture will help cut down on bulky corners when you adhere them. 

The gusset of your box should be 1-1/2". Use a really strong double stick tape like Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the box together.

Suite of the Month - NEW - Starting February

 

I hope you have seen the new January - June 2021 mini catalog 

It’s filled with lots of awesome paper crafting products that you will need! This is not about wants, it is needs! 😁 

If you are a current customer of mine, and have ordered in the past year, you should have gotten your copy of the Jan-June 2021 mini catalog in the mail. If you haven’t received your catalog yet, please let me know and I will arrange to get one to you. If you haven’t seen it, and want to browse now, you can view the online version here. Make yourself a cup of your favourite drink (hot or cold) and get your wish list started.

I have chosen 4 product Suites that are on my shelves because of their unique punches and dies, cute images, splashes of color or because ice cream is the theme. Yes, ice cream has its own suite! I don't know about you, but ice cream is a staple in our house all year long.

I am highlighting one product suite each month starting in February. I hope these suites are on your shopping list because you will earn a free make-n-take kit when you purchase the designated suites. Then meet me in Zoom to assemble the kits while I demonstrate where all the pieces go. If you miss the Zoom social, a Youtube link will be sent to you so you can assemble the kits at your leisure.

In addition, I am collaborating with other demonstrators across the globe that will be sharing 2 projects each using the same product suite. We are anticipating that there will be at least 5 demonstrators participating each month. This means that you will get a minimum of 10 different ideas to use with the rest of your product suite by watching these videos. Although you will only get the kit for my make ‘n takes, you will be able to make all the other projects because you have purchased the suite! There will be at least 10 videos each month. These are all exclusive to this group and won’t be available anywhere else.

Please order early in the month if you want to participate in the Zoom socials since I will be holding my socials on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 11:00am to 12pm and 6:00 to 7:00pm, MT. February classes will be on Tuesday 23rd of February, 2021. 

I will need some time to prepare your make-n-take kit and mail it to you. When I see an order come through with the designated Suite of the Month, then I’ll send your make-n-take kit to you for that month via regular USPS mail.

You are welcome to order any and all of the suites on the same order so you can earn and spend all the host rewards. During February, you will also earn Sale-A-Bration rewards on your orders.

February – Ice Cream Corner Suite, pages 48-49, a bright and warm color palette and ice cream cone punch!

March – Hydrangea Hill Suite, pages 18-20, 2 shades of purple pearls and purple acetate sheets!

April – Dandy Garden Suite, pages 24-27, a dragonfly punch in 2 sizes! I'll be using the Dragonfly Garden Bundle (stamp and punch), the Dandy Garden 6"x6" DSP, the Mossy Meadow 3/16" Braided Linen Trim, and the Ladybug Trinkets (not included in make-n-take packet).

May – Oval Occasions Bundle, page 65, 2 sizes of ovals in one punch! Build your own suite to reach a minimum of $50 in orders (excluding shipping and tax). I'll be using some Subtles and Brights colors with coordinating ribbon and possibly an embossing folder and DSP---pick what YOU like to go with this bundle.

Global SU Share Fair Blog Hop - Heartfelt Bundle

Welcome to the Global Stampin' Up! Share Fair Blog Hop

We have an awesome group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators sharing their talents in our private Facebook group called the Global SU Share Fair. We broadcast "live" videos about every other month. The videos are available on replay if you miss it "live". There are many demonstration videos available on replay as we've been doing this since April 2020. Today we are CASE-ing the August 2020 Share Fair projects. I decided to CASE Maureen Rauchfuss' Fun Fold Card from the  August 2020 pdf tutorial bundle.

Here is Maureen's card using the HALLOWS NIGHT MAGIC bundle that was in the Aug-Dec 2020 mini catalog.

Hearts Aren't Just for Valentines

I love the vibrant colors in the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper that is a FREE Sale-A-Bration item with a qualifying product purchase ($50 before tax and shipping in the U.S.). And this DSP looks great paired with the Heartfelt stamp set / Heart Punch Pack bundle! 

 

The From My Heart To Yours sentiment is wonderful for any time you want to send a hug in the mail to someone. I also stamped hearts and punched the larger ones out for both the outside and the the inside of the card. I used POOL PARTY, FLIRTY FLAMINGO and BASIC WHITE for the punched hearts.

The inside of this card looks just as pretty as the outside. 

Several patterns were used for the panels. I also stamped hearts on the Basic White panel, leaving some white space for a short handwritten note.

I'm not a big fan of fussy cutting, but cutting out two daisies (one for the front heart and one for the inside heart) wasn't too much. And it gave a little extra embellishment. 

Before I assembled my card, I attached the ends of my BUMBLEBEE GINGHAM ribbon to the back of the DSP used on the front folded panel on this card. Then I started attaching all of the DSP strips and stamped pieces to my folded POOL PARTY cardstock base.
