We have a great blog hop for you this month. Our August Paper Crafting Blog Hop theme is congratulations and spotlighting Designer Series Paper. You will see many great projects and design styles from this group of talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the globe. Be sure to stop at each of our blogs to see each one! You may have arrived from Julia Q's blog. Didn't you just love her project?
Showcasing Designer Series Paper in Many Happy Hues
For this month's blog hop we were tasked with making Congratulations type projects and showcasing Designer Series Paper (DSP). When I discovered that the HUES OF HAPPINESS suite of products included a "congratulations" image in its HAPPINESS ABOUNDS stamp and die bundle, as well as beautiful DSP and gorgeous GLOSSY DOTS ASSORTMENT embellishments, I knew immediately that I wanted to use them!
Even better, by ordering this suite your order qualifies to get you a FREE Level 1 Sale-A-Bration item through the end of this month (August 31, 2022). If your demonstrator is part of this blog hop, please be sure to order it from her.
As an extra bonus, The BLOSSOMING HAPPINESS dies (from the HAPPINESS ABOUNDS bundle) will cut out most images from the HUES OF HAPPINESS DSP. That means beautifully colored images without all of the hand coloring or fussy cutting!
And don't forget to add some of those die cut DSP images (and maybe some fussy cut extra leaves) to the inside and to stamp another great sentiment from the HAPPINESS ABOUNDS stamp set.
The layout of this card is designed to show off several of the designer prints in the HUES OF HAPPINESS DSP while still keeping a relatively clean and simple look. (Be sure to use Basic White Thick cardstock for your base).
I added one of the large black dots from the CLASSIC MATTE DOTS for the center of the die cut flower. And the Pool Party GLOSSY DOTS really add a little extra bling!
I hope you have enjoyed my project for this fun "hop." Please leave me a comment by scrolling to the very end of this post. I LOVE reading your comments!
