Struggling With Inspiration? Try A Sketch Challenge!
Do you love the inspiration you get from sketch challenges? I sure do!
I really love how the GREETINGS OF THE SEASON dies helped me create the elements of the sketch for this easy-to-make seasonal card.
And the SEASON OF GREEN & GOLD Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) had images that were very easy to fussy cut and attach to my focal element.

Stenciled Trees? Yes, Please!
I am SO in love with the FROSTED FOREST bundle (stamps, dies and decorative masks included) and the the stenciled trees!
I started out using the tall tree (I'm going to call it an oak tree, but it could be any kind of tree with a tall trunk 😉).
I used this sample for a Online Exclusives July 2024 Bundle Bonus idea file tutorial collaboration (ask me how to get the pdf) and for my Pretty Peacock Monochromatic Instagram Hop (Aug. 2nd, 2024) on my @stampwithjoy Instagram page.
Then I decided to use the same card sketch layout and color palette to stamp and use the decorative masks stencils with the "pine" tree to make a birthday card.
Can you see the different shades of color created with the stencils?
Watch this video from my Stamp With Joy Nelson YouTube channel to see exactly how I used the stencils to color the tree, and colored the birds with the ink pad and a blender pen:
