Flowers Of Beauty Meets Christmas
Have you ever duplicated a design you've made to make a card for a completely different occasion? That's exactly what I did in the project I'm sharing today!
Here's the original.
And here's the Christmas version I created with the same design.
It was super fun to use the same design---just change the colors and the sentiment---and come up with a similar but different card!
Let's take a closer look at the embossed and color blended background.

A Rainbow Of Trees
Have you ever used non-traditional colors to make a Christmas card? Sometimes it's fun to change things up a bit and use colors you wouldn't normally associate with the holiday. I wasn't sure what to do for this color challenge as the combination of colors isn't something I normally would have ever put together. But once I die cut a tree in each of the colors of cardstock shown for the challenge, I really saw it coming together!
So how did I get those delicate swirls on the trees? Die cuts and adhesive sheets of course! (Put the adhesive sheet on the back of Basic White cardstock before you die cut). It was so much easier than glue for me.
So I did a video for this card project. But on the video, I couldn't locate any gems to put on it.
After my video, I found the Iridescent Faceted Gems which worked very well for the whimsical feel of this card. Which do you prefer? Gems or no gems?
Here's my video that I've uploaded to my Stamp With Joy Nelson YouTube channel so that you can see how easy this card was to make:
